Through October 25th, Italian wineries open their doors for the harvest. Tasting tables are full.
No perfume
Wine is judged by the nose. A strong perfume reaches everyone at the table before the wine does.
Dressed for the table
Sleeves that stay put, a small print or darker color below the waist, a layer for the cool cellar.
Pale on top, dark below
Light near your face, dark where the drops fall. Then leave the bottle on the dresser.
